Fundraisers

Thisyear we will be holding only one outside sales fundraisers. Outsidesales fundraisers are the biggest source of income for our PTO budget. We will hold butter braid sales later in the year.  In the fall we willbe trying something new.  We thought we would try to have our owncatalog sale.  In place of the children selling items to friends andfamily, we thought we would ask the participants to donate that moneydirectly to the PTO.  We are taking a big chance on this, the fallcatalog sales tend to be our largest fundraiser, but we only get aportion of the sales.  Our thought is that most of the parents, friendsand family are only buying to support the school, so please show yoursupport.

Ourlast fundraiser is a direct letter that will be sent home with studentsin February. This fundraiser goes directly into a school (not PTO)account which is used to help fund the teachers' aides. This fundraisermay be tax deductible and you will receive a receipt for any donationthat you give.

Wetruly appreciate all the help and support that our Heights familiesprovide to the PTO that in turn enables us to provide support for ourstudents and faculty in providing a fantastic educational experience. Please consider participating in our school fundraisers and ourcommunity events. We look forward to another excelling year at MadisonHeights Elementary.

Thank you so much,
Your PTO board for 2010-2011
