The Site Based Management Team is a group of teachers, staff members, and parents who meet monthly after school to discuss the school’s primary mission: Improved student achievement. Members analyze data, visit similar schools, and contribute to the school improvement plans activities and outcomes. Site Based Management Team members analyze school climate data, and discuss ways to communicate those good things that are occurring at Simis.
Members also are often called into leadership roles in other areas, such as our school building project, which will be occurring this school year.
SBMT generally meets the first Wednesday of each month from 3-4 PM. Tentative dates are as follows. Call the office to confirm dates and times.
