All meals are free to all children 18 years of age and younger through June 30, 2022, regardless of eligibility or financial status. There are two options for free meals for our Madison Virtual Academy Students and any child in the community 18 years old and younger.
- The Free Bulk Bag Program: Madison No. 1 Middle School will be open every Wednesday (school holidays and breaks are excluded) from 4:10-5:30 PM via car drive thru pick up service. This bulk bag program will continue for as long as pickup numbers remain consistent. These bulk bags include 5 days of breakfast, lunch, snack, and supper for one child. Pre-orders are required in order to pick up a bulk bag for your child at https://bit.ly/2L1Kcy0. Pre-order forms close either when we reach our own max capacity or on the deadline, whichever occurs first. The deadline to submit bulk bag pre-orders for next week's distribution day is every Thursday at 1:00 PM. The pre-order form for bulk bags re-opens on Thursdays between 1:30-2:00 PM for the next earliest distribution day.

All meals until June 30, 2022, are free to any child 18 years of age and younger. This legislation was passed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This is due to the commitment that USDA has made to ensure that all children across America have access to nutritious food as the nation recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. In conjunction with the federal USDA, the State's own Arizona Department of Education (ADE) is able to reimburse a portion of the cost for every free meal served during this time frame for our school district. For more information, please see the USDA press release here: https://www.usda.gov/
media/press-releases/2020/10/ 09/trump-administration- extends-free-meals-kids- entire-school-year. We welcome all children to participate in this program so that our department can continue to be successful. Additionally, we encourage our families to pay off any remaining balances accrued on their student's school meal accounts at this time. We ask that these remaining balance payments are done via cashless methods to ensure the safety for our staff. Payment can be made through check payment made out to Madison Food & Nutrition Services or online through our Titan Family Portal system https://family. titank12.com/. If you would like to donate an amount to help lower remaining meal account balances for other children in our District, please select the Feed it Forward option when making payments through the Titan Family Portal system. Thank you for your continued support of our program.
"Feed it Forward" and Help Madison Students
Did you know? Titan offers a “Feed it Forward” account which allows families to add an additional amount to their meal account payment to help provide meals to children.
This will allow Madison to collect donations into a school account and use the funds to help students purchase meals.
Thank you for supporting Madison students!
