Student Achievement

Madison School District is an "A" rated school district by the Arizona Department of Education and is committed to preparing students for success.

We focus on educating the whole child by addressing the academic, social and emotional wellness of all of our students. Our students excel academically and regularly score higher than the state average in language arts, math, and science.

On the Spring 2023 state science assessment, Madison students had a 10 percent higher proficiency than the state average. On the Spring 2024 state math assessment, Madison students had a 10 percent higher proficiency that the state average and a 13 percent higher proficiency in English language arts.

Six Madison schools were named 2024 "Best" schools by U.S. News & World Report.

School letter grades represent a snapshot in time based on the state assessment test. While giving us a specific academic goal to achieve and strive for, there are many important factors that contribute to healthy, successful and well-rounded children that are not measured by the assessment.
