Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Madison Number 1 PTO is dedicated to supporting students and staff. There isn’t a “membership fee”.  All families are part of the PTO by virtue of the fact they are part of the Madison No. 1 Community.

The PTO funds many expenses that the school budget does not cover, such as classroom supplies for teachers, ribbons, trophies and awards for science fairs, Invention Convention and band classes, tether balls and other outdoor equipment used during recess, conference and teacher appreciation meals, PAWS rewards, and contributions to the 8th grade promotion.

We also sponsor community building events like Bingo Nights and Book fairs.

How can you help?

Make a donation

While there is no Membership Fee, donations to the PTO are greatly appreciated.  Donations can be left in the school office in an envelope marked PTO at any time.

Volunteer your time

There are many ways to get involved at No. 1.  Volunteering is a great way to get to know the teachers, staff and other families at our school.

Come to PTO Meetings

PTO Meetings are open to all Madison No. 1 parents and guardians.

Participate

Your support of the PTO is greatly appreciated by the staff and teachers who benefit from your donations and volunteering; and it shows your children you care about their education. Thank you for your support!
