2021 Madison Summer Academic Intervention Program
First Day Information
All student registrations must have been approved in the Power School Portal by Thursday, June 10. There will be no new registrations accepted after this date. Students that did not register are still eligible for after school tutoring during the 2021-2022 school year.
Madison Camelview (Grades K-4): Parent Drop off is in the front of the school. Madison Camelview is located at 2002 E Campbell Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85016. Additional staff will be on site to help all students get to their classes and to assist with Grab-and-Go breakfast. The front office is closed. All students will enter through the cafeteria. Staff will be at the bus bay to assist students in morning procedures. Teachers will take attendance promptly at 8:05. Parent pick-up is in front of the school. Teachers will be on duty to safely load students and help them get on the correct bus. Students do not need to bring supplies, as they will be provided. They are encouraged to bring a backpack with a water bottle, snack, and extra masks. We would also like to ask students to bring additional pencils if possible.
Madison Meadows (Grades 5-8): Welcome to Middle School Summer Academic Intervention. Our program for middle school students will take place at Madison Meadows. Madison Meadows is located at 225 W. Ocotillo Rd. Phoenix, Az. 85016. Parent drop off and pickup will be in the back of the school. Use the entrance off of 3rd Ave, north of Maryland to get to the back of the school. Staff will be at the bus bay and parent pick up/drop off locations to assist students with morning and afternoon procedures. Breakfast will begin at 7:30 am in the Madison Meadows cafeteria. Classes will begin at 8:00 am. The school day is over at 12:00 pm each day. Grab-and-Go Lunch will be served as students leave the campus at the end of the day. School supplies will be provided for each student. Students are encouraged to bring a backpack with a water bottle, snack, and extra masks. Masks will be worn inside the building where classes take place.

Please make sure that your child knows there are middle school buses and elementary buses. We will work with bus drivers to ensure your child gets on the correct bus.
MAC students will be transported to Rose Lane after school each day. Please note our child must be pre-registered through Community Ed to attend MAC.
Teachers should be reaching out to you via email or phone call this week to introduce themselves. You can expect weekly communication and updates from the teachers. Many teachers will be using remind.com or Class Dojo to communicate. Please make sure your email address is updated in PowerSchool.
We do not have a front office staff at summer school to answer phone calls. Please email teachers with transportation changes. For non emergency calls, please reach out to:

Our program is a full four week program designed to provide targeted support in English Language Arts and Mathematics. If your child is going to miss days, please note that teachers will not be providing missing lessons and assignments. The work will be done cooperatively in class and is not meant to be sent home in packets. If your child will be out, please notify your teacher.
The school offices will be closed, but will have someone available until 8:30. Please knock on the front door if your child is late. If you plan to arrive later than 8:30 please text the emergency number to be let in.
Students will be required to wear masks indoors at all times except when eating. Students will be allowed to take masks off outdoors as per District policies. Students will remain physically distanced inside of the school, as schools will be following the current mitigation plan.
Please keep your child home should they experience Covid-19 symptoms. If your child has symptoms or tests positive, please notify the coordinator at your site. The coordinator will work with health aides and HR to follow the District protocols.
