Student Survey for School Improvement and Focus Group Opt-Out
Dear Madison Families,
We’re excited to share an upcoming opportunity for students in grades 3–8 to provide valuable feedback through a student survey. This brief, confidential survey will be administered during the school day in Quarters 2 and 4. It plays a key role in helping us improve student experiences and supports our ongoing Cognia Advanced Accreditation, which Madison has held for over 15 years.
Student Survey Participation
All students in grades 3–8 will be invited to take the survey during class. Responses are anonymous and help us evaluate strengths and areas for growth in curriculum, teaching, and school culture.
Student Focus Group Participation
In addition to the survey, some students may be randomly selected to join a student focus group in Quarter 3. These small-group conversations, led by Madison staff, will cover topics such as:
- Communication with staff
- Curriculum challenge and relevance
- Facilities and resources
- Extracurriculars
- Student well-being
Only students whose families do not opt out will be considered. All feedback will be confidential, and no third parties will be involved.
Why It Matters
Feedback from both surveys and focus groups directly informs our school improvement efforts and ensures we meet high standards through the Cognia Accreditation process. Your child’s voice helps guide decisions that shape Madison’s future.
