How to Apply
Madison School District participates in the Department of Homeland Security E-Verify system. Madison will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm eligibility to work in the United States. For more information on E-Verify, please visit the Department of Homeland Security website at www.dhs.gov.
Thank you for your interest in employment with Madison School District! Applications are accepted for open positions. All open positions have a job posting number attached to them. Madison provides an online application system that can be used to apply.
Applications remain active for one year from the date the application is submitted. To keep an application active beyond this time period, log in to your online application prior to the one year deadline. After logging in, you can review the information and make changes or add additional information if needed. You will need to re-submit your application by selecting the ‘submit’ button even if changes were not made to your application. After receiving confirmation that your application was successfully submitted, your application will remain active for an additional year from the date it was resubmitted. Offers of Employment
Offers of employment are not finalized until the selected candidate is contacted by the Madison School District Human Resources department and the hiring is approved by the Madison School District Governing Board. Salary decisions and discussions are handled by the Human Resources department. Offers of employment are contingent upon a clear background check, fingerprint clearance and checked references with previous employers/supervisors. Support staff employees will be required to possess or have the ability to obtain an IVP fingerprint clearance card upon employment with Madison. If a support staff applicant is recommended for hire and does not have a fingerprint clearance card, Human Resources will provide instructions for how to obtain one and the associated fee will be paid by the district.
