    Parent University is now THRIVE: Together, Healthy, Resilient,

    As the landscape of childhood continues to evolve, it is imperative that parents are steeped with resources to approach and support their child in ways that align with the students of the Alpha and IGeneration. Madison School District is excited to launch their THRIVE series of interactive online offerings for parents and community members.

  • New Superintendent Selected

    On December 7, 2021, the Governing Board voted to enter into contract negotiations with Dr. Kimberly Guerin to serve as Madison’s next superintendent. Pending the result of successful contract negotiations, the Board is expected to officially approve Dr. Guerin as the next Superintendent effective July 1, 2022. The Madison School District Board worked diligently on this process and considered feedback from all stakeholders.

    Celebrating everyday greatness! Do you know an awesome Madison employee? Send an Awesome Award their way! Fill out the form below and thank a Madison employee today!

    Awesome Awards thank Madison employees for supporting students, families, and their school communities.

    Employees will receive a certificate that includes a brief explanation from the nominator of why they are so awesome! This form is open to everyone. Students, families, staff and community members can send an Awesome Award to any Madison employee.

    There is no limit to the number of Awesome Awards someone can receive. Thank a Madison employee today!

  • Parenting Future Focused Kids Podcast

    Madison is excited to launch the Parenting Future-Focused Kids podcast! This is a podcast for families that provides tips for supporting students’ academic success, social, emotional and physical wellness. Each episode will focus on a different topic such as early childhood education, independent learning, social/emotional support and more. Families will learn how to inspire creativity, collaboration and critical thinking all while preparing their child for the future.   • Change to Live Stream of Governing Board Meetings

    Video broadcasts of the Madison School District Governing Board meetings have relocated from LiveStream to the Madison Governing Board YouTube channel.
     
    Board Meeting video links can be found on the Madison District website. You can also click the red Subscribe button on the new YouTube channel to receive automated notifications of Board Meeting broadcasts.

  • Free Meals For Children

    Starting Tuesday, September 8, 2020 until further notice, meals are free to all children 18 years of age and younger. Children do not have to be enrolled in a Madison school to receive a free meal. Families can pick up meals without their child present.

  • 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant 

    Madison Camelview and Madison Park will be applying for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant.  If awarded, this grant will provide resources for Park to support academics and social emotional development in a before and after school program.  More information can be found at https://www.azed.gov/21stcclc.  Questions can be directed to Quisha Breiling, Community Education Director.
