9/2/2020 - At-Home Online Learning Sign-Up

Posted by Madison Communications on 9/2/2020

Hello Madison Families,

As the District prepares to return to in-person learning, families will need to decide if their child(ren) will attend in-person instruction or learn online at home through December. Once a choice has been made, it is finalized and cannot be changed until the second semester.

The District will have two options for students when school buildings open:

  1. In-person instruction
  2. Online at home instruction

If you choose to send your child to school when it opens for in-person instruction, you will not need to complete the Google Form.

If you choose at-home online learning, you will need to complete a Google Form to select that your child will be learning at-home online through December.

School principals will be assigning teachers to teach online based on the number of students who select online learning.

Schools will communicate a detailed schedule and plan once the online student numbers are finalized.

Timeline:

September 2-11: Parents have the opportunity to fill out the Google Form to select the at-home online learning option. If you are choosing to send your child in-person, you do not need to fill out this form.

School will resume in-person when the benchmarks approved by the Governing Board are met. This date will be communicated as soon as the data indicates that it is safe to return.

Please complete the Google From linked below by September 11 only if your child will learn online at home.

Please complete a separate form for each child: https://forms.gle/cKMvwAemBg2oiAvY7

Thank you for your support.
